Adoption Center
Welcome to the Marietta Animal Hospital adoption center.
All pets listed on this page are free to a "good home". A good home is more than just fresh food and water and a clean place to sleep. We are looking for warm loving people to bring these abandoned pets into their home as a family member. We expect a continuation of the good health care we have started here at Marietta Animal Hospital, including routine health visits, heartworm prevention, flea control, spay/neuter, and basic core vaccines. Everyone of these animals has found a place in our hearts and we hope they find a place in yours as well.
Desperately Seeking Good Homes
We have had a very rough start in life. We were starving and full of worms and fleas and our hair was falling out. We didn't know how to play or even know what toys were. The team at Marietta Animal Hospital saved our lives and gave us a second chance. Now we are happy and healthy and full of life, which means we are now becoming a handful. We have been here for 6 weeks and we need lots of attention and playtime and tons and tons of puppy chow. In other words, we need a good home with lots of love. . . and toys. . . and PUPPY CHOW (we are always hungry)! In return, we promise to give lots of slurpy kisses and get into all kinds of trouble. Won't you give us a chance.
ADOPTED !
We are also accepting donations towards our care, since we have had lots of vaccinations and deworming and flea control and way to many baths . . . and did we mention lots and lots of PUPPY CHOW!
Beau is a fun loving, 9 month old, hound/rottie mix. He is neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. He is also housebroken and very smart! He is a happy boy who loves people and other dogs and does very well with cats! Call Camp BowWow 904-732-9663
Rocko is a fun loving Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. He is approximately 17 months old, neutered, micro-chipped, current on all vaccinations, and heartworm negative! He loves to run and play, is very sweet, and would thrive in an active home w/o cats! He adores people and is longing for his forever family! To meet Rocko, call Camp Bow Wow Jacksonville at 904-732-9663!!
Hi—
My name is Brandi or whatever you want it to be. I was found living in a culvert and it rained me out and flooded my home. I went to live under a pick up in this family’s yard. They already own a dog, if you can call it a dog, its a little miniature Weiner dog. They also are a caregiver to the grandmother and don’t really have time to play with me. I am very shy but I am warming up to them. I do have a few trust issues. I am very grounded and easy to deal with. I am not a picky eater, I am not finicky. I have had my shots, been wormed, spayed, treated with heart guard and I feel so good I want some one to play with, I have only barked a couple of times since I have lived at the family’s house. You should hear that little Weiner bark. Brother, talk about drama. Pleeease take me home so I can have my own family. I am a true red head, a girl, and I have black trim. My ears stick straight up and are pointy. I have some Sheppard, hair and stance, a boxy nose and possibly a little chow some where down the line. I will make someone a wonderful companion. Please get me from behind these bars as soon as possible so we can be a family! I can’t wait! Call (904) 266-4045.

We got dumped by out parents and we didn't know why. We don't think we did anything wrong. Even if we did, wouldn't you forgive us? We are pretty darn cute. Fortunately, a super nice lady named Janice saved us and may sure we got our shots and deworming and even got rid of our fleas (they weren't paying rent so they had to go). We need a home and we would like to stay together...kind of a matched set. Come visit and we will give you lots of kisses.

My name is "Bambi". I'm not sure how I feel about that name. I'm thinking that I may have to change it. Anyway, I'm about 5 months old and I've had all my puppy shots and I've been spayed, also I don't know what kind of dog I am and I'm not sure when I was born. I guess I don't know very much at all. That must be why they keep calling me "goofy". However, I am very happy all the time and I need to find a good home. If you take me home and love me, I will give you lots of kisses.

Hey, we don't have names, cuz someone just dumped us off in a box and we're still pretty upset about that. Fortunately, the Marietta Animal Hospital staff took us in and got rid of our fleas and worms and started us on some very yummy kitten food. We sure were scared and hungry at first, but now we are doing much better. So, we are looking to upgrade to a better home. This place is ok, but it isn't the Ritz, so we need good homes.

If you have a pet that you can no longer keep. We recommend contacting Jax Humane Society or one of the many animal shelters in the city. Do to space limitations we do not routinely take in strays or unwanted pets. Please remember, it is both illegal and inhumane to abandon unwanted pets.
