We are closed Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. We often close early on the days before Thanksgiving and Christmas, so, please, plan accordingly.
During my 'off hours', I sneak into my library for some light reading.
We take patients for 'drop-offs' as early as 7:30 am and 'pick-ups' as late as 6:15pm, for the convenience of our clients. If a patient is staying in the hospital for any reason, they must be current on vaccinations from a veterinarian, unless their current condition or illness does not permit it.
If you wish to leave a sick patient in the hospital for treatment, we advise an exam by the veterinarian before you leave, so we can give our recommendations and receive authorization for treatment. Critical or very ill patients can not be left at the clinic without being examined by the doctor first.
We take appointments between 8am and Noon, and, again, from 2pm to 5pm, depending on our patient load. Most surgeries are done between Noon and 2pm, but that can change, according to our schedule, so always call first before coming without an appointment.
Surgery and anesthesia patients need to be in the hospital between 7:30 and 8:30am, so there is time for pre-anesthesia exams, bloodwork and premedications, as needed.
We need sick patients to come in as early as possible during the day, so we have ample time to evaluate your pet, perform any needed tests and evaluate response to any treatment. Call as early as you can and we will make every attempt to accomodate you. If we can't provide appropriate treatment, we will refer you to another clinic that can.
Please, remember to bring any and all paperwork about your pets medical history, so we know what was done and what may be needed. If someone else is bringing your pet for you, please call in advance, and be sure that someone is available to answer our questions and provide a complete history or we will not be able to treat your pet. Treatment can only be authorized by the owner or by an individual designated by the owner. You must be 18 years of age or older to authorize services.
If you are unable to keep you scheduled appointment, please call so we can reschedule at your convenience. This will also allow another client the opportunity to use that empty time slot.
If you have an emergeny during non-business hours please contact:
